The key processes of project management are planning, monitoring and control.

The Planning Process consists of the following operations:

– Structure it in ACTIVITIES and TASKS.
– Establish a SEQUENCE, PRIORITIES and dependency between tasks.
– Estimate the DURATION of tasks.
– Define the RESOURCES available.
– Define the admissible BUDGET.

When talking about follow-up, what is done is to compare the initial planning with the actual execution, that is, with the fulfillment of the work plan and the budget.
